A
man came from Cameroon to see me with a bunch of plantain for me and
ask me to pray that God will make him a multi millionaire. I accepted
the offer and I asked him to close his eyes, then said I to God, father
this man has brought a bunch of plantain, can you give him one million
fingers of plantain. He opened his eyes and said No sir, I don’t want
plantain, I want money. I told him, Oga, you planted plantain and expect
to harvest something else. Write it down and write it in your heart
that ‘Prosperity is impossible without a seed’.
In
Zechariah 8:12 the bible says ‘For the seed shall be prosperous; the
vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and
the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this
people to possess all these things. Therefore, Number two, Increase
answers to Inputs. There is nothing like something for nothing in life.
If you want to prosper financially, you must sow financially. If you
want people to love you, love them; for life is an echo, what you put in
is what you will harvest.
In
Galatians 6:7, the bible says life is made in a way that what you sow
is what you reap ‘Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a
man soweth, that shall he also reap’ I hope God will grant you an
understanding of that beautiful line of his word. If you are a girl and
you like to sleep with boys, you are likely going to marry a man who has
slept with so many girls. A lecturer who took interest in telling girls
if you will pass your examinations, you must see me. When he planned to
marry, he desired a virgin and went to his village to pick a girl. He
found one and married her; at the night of their wedding, the girl told
him she has slept with more men and was not a virgin. There are those
who walked into a place of fellowship like ours and never asked God what
will I do for you? There are those who have been repeatedly blessed by
our online ministration and never asked God what will I do to sustain
this program. We need workers, we need helpers and we need volunteers.
Find something you can do that will bring blessings and multiply
blessings to you.
If
you are friendly, people will be friendly towards you; if you love
others, others are bound to love you. If you are kind hearted, people
will be kind hearted towards you. Life is made in a way that everyman
receives his echo as reward. The question you will ask yourself today is
why has God spared your life? Why has God kept you alive? What were you
made to accomplish?
God
blesses you for His kingdom sake, for the sake of your family members
and for the sake of your village; but so many of us are blind to it; so
many of us are so selfish. All we want is how to gather more. When you
Get what you Can; and Can what you Get; and Sit on the Can; and Guard
the Can; you run into a life of struggling, a life of poverty, a life of
defeat. Men and brethren, it is not where you are that determines who
you are. It is who you are that determines where you are. Exodus 3:21-22
Anybody
who wants to command the wealth of God must first obey the commandment
of God. We are not of our own; we have been called to serve God. Exodus
25: 2-8. The word ‘take’ means from what God has given you already, take from it.
As
we were ministering in Houston, I asked everyone to stand up but a
woman could not because she was lame. So I asked what is a lame woman
doing in the house of God except to be healed. I commanded her to stand
up, when she did, the whole crowd went wild. But a Nigerian cornered me
and said if you can ask God to make a lame woman to stand up; ask same
God to give me 50 million dollars, I will give you 1 million dollars. I
told him that is not how the kingdom of God operates; you will take from
what God has already given you and give to God first. You don’t say to
God bless me tomorrow and I will give you something tomorrow. Every one
of us has something he or she can give. If you can’t give money, you can
give your time. If you can’t give your time, you can give your talent.
If you can’t give your talent, you can give your skill. Every one of us
can give something.
Psalm
132: 1-6. When David was nobody, God remembered him. You may be last
person in the line but God can cause small confusion to bring you to the
front row. You may be the smallest in your family but God can rearrange
things to make you number one. Tonight I declare that a day will come
that God will move you from where you are to the front row.
